We followed the map and walked up troward the Roman theatre in Cartagena.

We found many good views along the way.

Just above the Riviera's bow and across the bay is the Sub Dock.

We got a good view of the doors of the Sub Dock entrance.

This sign actually directed us to the Museum of the Roman theatre in Cartagena.

The map showed no connection to the Roman theatre, so we went up the steps on the side.

We finaly found the Roman theatre in Cartagena from the bottom, but we could not enter.

WHAT a VIEW!
We were told we could get to the top following a path around the side of the ruins.
Many stairs later and with the help a family, also going up, we were at the top of the Roman theatre.

We were greated by several Pheasants. The tourist did not scare them.

With each Pheasant there were several mates just out of sight.

We found an elevator was available, No more steps to walk down.

Back on level ground, it was just a short walk back to the Riviera.
