Passing a ship that is exiting the Panama Canal into the Atlantic Ocean.

Entering the First Lock. This crew is taking the cables from the ship to the Lock Tow Lock length 1000 ft. / Zuiderdam 935 ft.	Connected and ready to move to the Lock enterance.


The Lock Tow keeps the Zuiderdam centered as we approach the Lock Gate..

Lock #2 is ready for us to enter.	This Lock is 1050 ft.

The #3 Lock is the shortest Lock at 980 ft.	Exiting the #3 Lock into Gatum Lake. These 3 Locks have raised us almost 100 ft.

Train tracks and the Hiway follow the Panama Canal and can be seen at several locations.	Lake Gatum

Entering the Culebra Cut.	Approaching the Centennial Bridge.

Optical guideance can be seen on this hill.	Steep cut to get through the high hills.

Centennial Bridge	Pedro Miguel Locks, 1 Steps

Miraflores Locks, 2 Steps, returns to Sea level. The Lower chamber gates are the highest of any of the Panama Canal Locks.	After passing thru the Miaflores Locks we had our first view of the Panama City, Panama, skyline.

Bridge of the Americas	After going under the Bridge of the Americas we saw the Modern BiOMUSEO building in front of the Panama City Skyline.
