Walking up the beach.
Looking up the beach toward Mount Maunganui.	Looking back down the beach toward the Zuiderdam.


When we reached the base of Mount Maungahui. It was a 45 minutes walk around so we went directly to the eastern beach, We saw some sheep on the Mauao.



Nice wood sidewalk along the road.	A unique decoration was seen on the side of this house.

The Mount Maunganui Main Beach is open to the ocean.	Moturiki Island

Across the road is Mount Drury.	Surfers can be found off this beach and near Moturiki Island..

A custom food truck, "The Wave", can be fount in the parking area..	A Surfer had a rough water Kayak on top of his car.


Go inland and you will find the Market Area.

Back to the Port. Two tug boats waited to help the Zuiderdam's exit.	Time to board after we haved walked about 2.5 miles.

As we left the port I noticed this statue near Mount Maungahui..	On the side of Mount Maungahui I found these sheep..
