Here we had a Shuttle bus to take us into Weymouth and dropped us off near The Red Lion. From The Red Lion we walked along the Weymouth Harbor and across the Weymoth Town Bridge into Downtown Weymouth.

There were short poles separating the sidewalk from the street. Someone had knitted and decorated these.

Just prior to reaching the bridge we saw the Holy Trinity Church, built in 1834. A sign indicated that it would be open in about 15 min, we waited till then.





Time to cross over the bridge into the other half of town.



This looked like the TV Cable distrabution for the downtown residences.	I could not tell from outside what it was, but it did not fit with the rest of downtown.

It looks like Peache's has a nice high womens clothing store in Weymouth.

Time to go back to the Shuttle Bus pickup location and return to the ship for lunch.

15-Apr-2023 / WW2 / D-Day Centre.
The Shuttle Bus droped us off directly in front of the D-Day Center.


Right beside the the D-Day Center there was an encampment in progress.


Inside the D-Day Center there are a lot of items on display in a very small space, but very interesting.

The Portland Castle is located about 2 short blocks from the D-Day Center. A short walk over and back then back to catch the Shuttle Bus.
