Here we had a Shuttle bus to take us into Weymouth and dropped us off near The Red Lion.
From The Red Lion we walked along the Weymouth Harbor and across the Weymoth Town Bridge into Downtown Weymouth.

There were short poles separating the sidewalk from the street. Someone had knitted and decorated these.

The Weymouth Town Bridge
Just prior to reaching the bridge we saw the Holy Trinity Church, built in 1834. A sign indicated that it would be open in about 15 min, we waited till then.

The Portland Castle is located about 2 short blocks from the D-Day Center. A short walk over and back then back to catch the Shuttle Bus.
