23-Apr-2023 / Kristiansand, Norway Bus Tour: "Southern Most Lighthouse"

Started our Bus Tour, a 2 hr. ride down to the lighthouse.






This momument is to the 1000 Russian Prisoners of War, during WW2, that died when the ship that they were on was sunk.


We arrived at the southern most lighthouse in Norway, The Lindesnes Lighthouse
The left white building is the Office and Tour Center and the White building in the center is the Lighthouse Caretaker & a Guest House. (Photo taked from the Lighthouse Base)

Observation Tower Germany added during during WW2.	One of the 4 gun placements Germany added during WW2.
Additionally many tunnels were placed in the rock below the lighthouse.

Time to head back to the Zuidedam.
