Alexander Graham Bell was most known for his work with the telephone. This was a result of his work
helping the deaf. The Museum covered many of Bell's inovations in this area many are little known outside
of this field.
Bell liked to develop his ideas into useful items but cared very little in producing the final product. His ideas in the aviation industry were not leading the industry but he enjoyed using his ideas to improve the work of others. He was interested in improving boats. He used hydrofoils to lift the boat out of the water to allow greater speed. His work with hydrofoils ended with the HD-4. |
