The tour was very interesting since it included the two story house, with interpreters, and we were allowed to go up to the top of the tower and see the light system.

While we were there a tour boat came by and we saw the whale that they were viewing.


We noticed that around the hills there were rocks placed in neat little piles. These were not natural formations but were from recent tourists.

There were also lots of Puffins around, but none were really close to us.

Over many years two caves were carved by the wind and waves. Finally the inland ends of the caves collapsed and formed the pool and two tunnels.

This photo shows what they expect will happen many years in the future.
The bridge over the two tunnels will drop and the leaving three spikes.
Next the two outer spikes will be collapse leaving only the center spike.

While there are many signes indicating: "Do Not climb into the cliffs. If you should fall it will be almost impossible to get back up." While we were there a group of 4 guys did climb down, while I was taking this photo, one lost his balance but luckly recovered.
