13-Aug-2023 / FlowerPot Rocks - High Tide


	This is a copy of a photo showing the water level on a day that had 49' tides.
	Full Page Comment.
	At high tide you can only go down to the to the first two decks down.
All of the above photos were between about 10:00am and 11:30am. High tide was around 11:00am.

13-Aug-2023 / FlowerPot Rocks - Low Tide We had a scheduled tour of the Ocean Floor at low tide at 2:30pm, Low tide was scheduled for 4:55pm.
We started at the same lookout as we did in the morning.	The Tour was starting to get together on the sandy area.

The tour starts at the bottom of the 101 steps of the overlook tower..
We started by walking thru the arch of the main flowerpot.	Looking to the right as we entered the arch.
All of the Flowerpots have seaweed on the bottom and our guide talked about the seaweed.	We walked on down thru the next inlet in the beach.
Here our guide was explaining how the tide is still going out providing more beach.	At the end of the inlet there were many more Flowerpots to be seen.
After walking on the beach for about 1 hr we turned around and headed back.	At about 2 hr we had returned to the observation tower.

Here we were given the choice of climbing 101 steps or continuing on to a ramp up to near the parking lot.


Up the Ramp and our Tour is completed.
