 We arrived at the dock in Petersburg, St Maartin, but due to the high winds we were later than expected. As a result the docking propeccdure were completed and the ship was released later than expected, at around 8:30. Rather than being able to board the "Old Town Phillipsburg Trolley Train" by 8:15, it was closer to 9:00. |
 This photo was taken from the rear of the Volendam and the Ganway was near the Bow. As we left the ship we discovered another problem. Our instructions were "Meeting Point: End of Gangway, look for tour sign". With the docking delay the dock was loaded with many more passengers than expected, blocking the dock area. Additionally the Trolly was in the parking lot just past the end of the dock. We all reached the Trolley and were able to start the trolley train tour around 30 min late. |
