While we were walking to the sail boat I saw a rainbow to start our cruise.
|

Sail up and we are heading West
|
|

Leaving the harbor the wind and waves increased.
|

A larger sail boat was seen further out from the harbor.
|
|

Moving along the coast heading toward the Western tip of St. Kitts
|

Brimstone Hill Fortress, near the western tip of St. Kitts, is coming into view.
|
|

Mt. Liamuiga Volcano, the talest mountain on St. Kitts stands 3,792 ft high.
|

For many years Sugar Cane was an important crop. This is the ramanis of a Sugar Cane refinery.
|

Most of the houses were very brightly colored in blues, reds, oranges, etc.
|
|

The Brimstone Hill Fortress is located on the top of Brimstone Hill Fortress.
|

As we approached Brimstone Hill the Fortress started to become visible

On the right is the tip of St. Kitts. Entering passage between the two island you will leave the Caribbean Sea and enter the Atlantic Ocean.

The 30-mile circle tour around St. Kitts Island includes 12 miles by Sail & bus plus 18 miles on the ST. KITTS SCENIC RAILWAY.
